The experience at NWN Carousel has been wonderful and gets better each year. I am grateful for the team I work with, the continued changes taking place, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

The department I work in, our team members believe in all our core values and live them each day. Team work and customer focus are paramount. We work for the good of one another as well the company and our customer.

Their willingness to try new initiatives like the Empower Leadership Program, frequent communication from our CEO, and approving efforts to improve the overall company like the HR led Culture initiative. These things show they are reviewing feedback and working to take action for improvement.

There is a new approach to compensation and it is a total rewards strategy. When you look at all of the various components, the new benefits brought on for 2024, it is forward thinking, and comprehensive. In addition, the company is covering some costs that employees formerly paid for.

Review of same/similar positions, our compensation is below average. In some cases, by a significant amount for pay and benefits. The total rewards package is an important figure to understand, but it comes down to annual wage for most. Hard to stay if another company offers thousands more.

We are now truly one company. Naysayers who blocked progress have moved on. I am starting to see people take accountability or try to be more of a team player. Feedback is encouraged, and action taken in some instances. The business is starting to "walk the walk" or "doing, not just saying".
