That being said it seems like this year we've taken a step back and are getting in our own way: fewer open positions meaning less advancement opportunities. Pay is enough to attract talent, but not to retain it.

First Merchants: OK - blend of disappointment in communication and overall direction of leadership. Seemingly large middle management class that underperforms their job duty. The ability to use common sense has become difficult and often is discouraged due to sticking to a rigid process.
First Merchants: My experience has been overall pretty good. I have learned more than I ever thought I would. I have met some great people, and I hope to eventual move up in this company.

First Merchants: The main focus is on retail. However the retail management is always out at frivolous events and then the staff at the banking centers are not managed and mentored so mistakes happen and losses to the bank occur.

Micro Center: I have one Sr. manager that refuses to leave his office, another that just blames all the problems of the store on the front end and mocks the department in front of the sales associates, and a general manager that refuses to hold anyone accountable and rejects the entirety of OPS.
Newsday: Exciting and fun... Each day was something new... The business expense like lunch and taking clients out to close the deal was the best. My job was the best until you didn't meet that quoter... Then it wasn't.
IBM: I feel like I am at a great company, with solid products, and a clear product vision - but as someone in an Operations function, I see a leadership team who perpetuate bad habits, and are showing no signs they have the capability to change. I fear for our future if R&D keeps moving like we do today
