we are way too cheap with people resources. we are quick to get rid of folks in large numbers, the work grows but not in proportion to available people resources

we support each other and come together when there's a crisis to be resolved.

we only manage by crisis. there is no time or effort devoted to strategy and planning. we have gotten rid of so many people I am forced to work many weekend nights just to keep my head above water and there are no approvals to hire and off set this workload for over 1 year!
