Open door policy, can speak to C-suite and other leaders frankly and honestly. Company cares about giving high quality evidence based care to patients.
All are hard workers and truly seem to care about their patients. Willing to help out. willing to stay after shift to see that "last patient".
being able to take my time if needed to go that "extra step" to help patients ( like taking out the trash, or waiting on hold for their PCP to give a report.
corporate office is amazing, however as they have added more middle management over the years and the message seems to be diluted ( think telephone game). too Many middle managers and not enough staff in the cars. There is of course a nationwide provider and EMT shortage and pandemic fatigue
as the pandemic has progressed many other providers and EMT's are now working at higher paid positions. WE have a high turnover as others leave for better pay. I would like to see less turnover, more concentration on retention instead of recruitment. Part-timers at 5 days a month, if already trained
