DispatchHealth Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Flexible vacation and sick leave policy

Review from Marketing Dept

Flexibility along with improvement and richness of benefits year over year

Review from Operations Dept

Base salary and employee perks i.e. discounts for family parks and retail services

Review from Operations Dept

100% premium on medical, vision, and dental for me and my family

Review from HR Dept

Health/dental/vision insurance coverage is nice

Still looking into it, but I like the fact that it is offered

Review from Operations Dept

DispatchHealth offers competitive benefits for that can be tailored to your needs including flexible PTO and healthcare plans.

Review from Marketing Dept

PTO accrual, CME allowance and 401kMatch. I couldn't just pick one as none of these were offered at my previous company.

My compensation aligns with what I bring to the table, which is not something that I've been able to say historically. We're valued as people and contributors -- it shows in how we're treated and compensated.

Not sure at this time.

Most is paid by the company

Being able to invest in the retirement plan as a part time employee.

Benefits are made affordable for all on a budget as myself.

Currently not receiving benefits such as insurance but the wellness information and package are great.

I am very happy with my hourly rate

401K is the best for me as I do not use any health benefits provided by the company.

Im part time, so no benefits

The package has all the benefits I need

Free vision insurance, competitive wages

Fairness and options available given

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

PTO for providers is a joke. You claim to be concerned about wellness because you think it sounds good. How about giving us some reasonable time off?

Review from Operations Dept

Pay is sufficient. Had higher offers elsewhere but I stay because I love the company and the job. I'm not aware of any opportunity for me to buy into the company.

I am part time, so answered no. If I am eligible for any benefits would gladly enroll. Don't know about retirement investments for part timers.

Review from Operations Dept

Training is rushed and unfocused. Things are always changing but hardly communicated so you are held to an evolving standard that you may not even be aware of. Mgmnt team is not open to being questioned. There is a some but not all mentality when correcting employees so cozy up to mgmnt

Review from Operations Dept

My position should be an hourly position. It was ok at first but I'm putting in some serious hours and not being reimbursed for them.

Scope of work increased far beyond the current compensation package.

Review from Marketing Dept

If I had been told before hand that I would be taking a $5 pay cut from which I was being paid through the Temp company. I was never informed and now I'm struggling and having to find out another source of Income just to help with this. And being a mom of 3 that is extremely hard to do.

focus and direction of the company at times does not align with my professional goals

Pay is no longer competitive, I've asked for an adjustment but haven't heard back. Disappointing because I love the company but I'm feeling undervalued.

Review from Marketing Dept

Pay is not commensurate with knowledge and experience or with my other employer

My hourly rate is 20-25% less than other similar jobs, the on call schedule makes it hard to have a second job, take classes or have a life. Training is rushed and rhen people are expected to know and be competent in a challenging, complex and demanding job.

as the pandemic has progressed many other providers and EMT's are now working at higher paid positions. WE have a high turnover as others leave for better pay. I would like to see less turnover, more concentration on retention instead of recruitment. Part-timers at 5 days a month, if already trained

Not necessarily the hourly compensation, its the fact that they have been cutting APP shifts since October due to the lack of DHMTS without giving us any other alternative options or way of retaining our minimum hours. They tell us to work solo or nothing at all, making us chose safety or providing

Culture is HUGE. In my market and region, our leaders dismiss all concerns we bring to the table - including negative talk regarding market employees by the market manager. There is significant inconsistency, inequity, and a lack of veracity by market leadership and regional leadership.

There have been nonopportunities to advance pay, and/or position within DH. Also fair market wages are >$10 per hour more than my current DH pay. My bedside RN pay 15 years ago was higher than my current NP pay. Increased employer contribution to 401K, more contract options.

Low pay, expenses are minimal compared to others

Pay rate is not competitive for our market Cost of living needs to be better assessed Need annual raises of at leas cost of living Please note coat of living went up 7% in December 2021 which is the largest increase since the 1980s

Paid the same for the last couple years with a less than a $1 wage increase, despite receiving the highest level in my employee evaluation. Job pays about 30% less than comparable jobs, according to Salary.com and Indeed.com

I work really hard and I feel I am not compensated appropriately for the job I do.

Pay should be higher. And motivation bonus
