Treating their retail associates with dignity. Going in too many directions. Basing success on associates ability to high pressure customers into subscriptions.
The pay is horrible even by retail standards. We only pay starting associates 8.50 to 9.00 an hour and expect them to be world class sales people.
We never can hire quality people because the pay is so low. And if they accept a job they leave within 2 weeks to 1 month do to the high pressure to sale multiple items all the time.
Company is pinning its hopes on high pressure sales tactics by making associates harrass customers with subscripton services. Management does not want us to us the term subscription thereby tricking customers into receiving items they are unaware of.
Better pay. Too authoritarian. Always negative from the executive team down to the general manager for not meeting random numbers for subscriptions. Invest in the emloyees. Listen to what we have to say. We are on the front lines and know how to serve our customer base. Get back to basics.
