My opinions always feel like they matter, even though I'm relatively new to the company. If I feel like my strengths and skills are more useful on some projects compared to others, my managers trust my self-awareness and allow me to work or take leadership in the projects where my strengths shine.
My managers and coworkers trust me to get things done, so they give me the freedom I need to work efficiently. This creates a positive feedback loop, where I want to make my managers/coworkers happy, so I get things done efficiently, which in turn leads to more trust and faith in my work, and so on.
