Columbia Sportswear Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

They care about each other

Cohesive, fun, and supportive. Each with specific skillsets to learn from.

Ground staff benefits from their diverse hiring practices

they are so kind, just zooie mama

We know what to do, and all we all work together.

Each one of us try our best to complete our tasks and we support each other. We have a respectful friendly environment

Everyone is in a similar boat as me so talking to them makes my job somewhat better.

Review from Sales Dept

Theyre the only reason i go to work

We all got each other back and we work as a unit!!

My team can work without any supervisor or manager as we have shown in the past couple months on more than one occasion

Review from Operations Dept

We care about each other and come together as a team to meet our goals

Review from Operations Dept

The team members who have stayed in the longest know how to keep the store functioning while the SM sits in an office.

Review from Sales Dept

One goal, not micromanaged, family feel

Review from Operations Dept

Fun, smart, thoughtful people.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Meetings do not encourage better performance

Columbia employees have formed an unofficial union and act as a pack to eliminate any person who might do better than their average performance. The Columbia HR department is a joke and acts like an ostrich, refusing to even listen to employees unless management says it is okay: Nazis.

Not be afraif to speak up

very negative, stay in their lane, do not think outside the box, afraid of change

coworkers need to be more professional, need to hire talent from out side competitors. some coworkers have not had outside experience. Most need upgrading and tech skill updates

Most need to travel the world and learn new cultures. Step out of their comfort zones. Accountable for their work and make strong decisions

They need to work their own shifts and not call out constantly; as well show they actually care about their work and not only their paycheck. I love my paychecks too but I love to earn them doing what I love.

Review from Sales Dept

They need to learn how to respect each other and managers shouldn't be allowed to bully people.
