What staff meetings? We don't have staff meetings. There is no direction from management, no incentive to do a good job, and no staff accountability. Pointing fingers for being late on orders doesn't fix the problem of bad management nor the ineffective way our store is set up for Express Lane.
I work as a personal shopper and I was given one day of training and the next day I was on my own. Improve the hands on training because every shopper does it their own way. Provide an SOP manual to the staff. You can't hold staff accountable if they don't know the correct procedures.
Give us the equipment necessary to do our job. We have one (1) computer, one (1) phone, NO printer/copier (the one we use is at the back of the store), and one (1) check out dedicated to Express Lane. We need more of everything. The way this is set up, we are bound to fail.
