What does the leadership team need to get better at?
At my store we need to communicate better and work as a team. And i know covid has effected may companies, i feel as if my managers always demand we stay later then our scheduled times if they are short handed. They never ask they just say no one leaves until everything is done. Theres other things.

Communication, I have never had a full week where things went smoothly. There are always issues due to understaffing and lack of communication. The company could do and be better but that would mean Kroger would have to change itself too

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We all do so much hard work in express lane and i just feel un appreciated. I go out of my way in the kindness of my heart to help the company and keep a positive work environment but its usually always negative. i just wish we could work as a team not as enemies. i hate coming into work now.

Undervalued is an understatement. I used to care about this place a lot more when I was newly employed, however the longer I am employed the more I am disgusted with the company altogether

It is difficult to think how earning $9.00 an hour for serving 25 customers an hour each averaging $100 in groceries is fair

Working in the deli for a closing shift there is just too much to do in not enough time. Our clock out time is supposed to be 8:30 but we usually don't finish until 9:30-10 sometimes even longer and then we get yelled at for going over our hours. I feel like too much is expected from closing crew.
