I feel as if my position is dumped on a lot more so at XPO than any other carrier I have worked at and that makes it hard to start the day "looking forward to it"
My local leaders know me personally, my work ethic and my dedication to my customers especially. They show appreciation for the work I do for XPO and understand and try to help with the hardships I face daily.
Upper management is positive about all things all the time. But that works against them at times because sometimes we want to know things aren't great and they understand that - not that they are sweeping it under the rug
I know that other, younger and opposite sex reps have been hired on at a much higher wage than myself that has a huge advantage of experience in big markets but I do feel age and gender dictate the starting pay for my position here at XPO and it should stop!
my direct peers I do look forward to interacting with but the support staff at my terminal I do not as they try to run the office like a union shop and do not want to help others (inside and outside the company) they just want a paycheck and to get to retirement
