Overall a good company to work for. Some inexperienced managers who don't get a lot of support can be frustrating as they don't have the skillset or support to be effective leaders and the staff suffer for it. Many options to move teams but no clear career progression within the teams.
There is still a long way to go to improve things eg breaking down siloes, but we have already come so far. It's a much more positive place than it was even a year ago. The new role and team has really made me love my work again. Toxic, low performing teams are really draining and not for me.
They are diverse and highly passionate people.
They endeavour to be inclusive and caring.
Achieving goals, brainstorming new ideas, helping others
People genuinely care about each other
The salary amount is good
It is a fair salary
Making a positive impact in the team, business or for a customer.
All passionate people with different skills who are happy to work together and share ideas
They do as they say, have integrity and are open and honest as well as passionate.
Most are passionate people who want to do their jobs well and are easy to get along with.
It's a new team but it's good there is more than one female, and they aren't just white, middle aged men
The new leadership is a breath of fresh air. open to innovation and willing to change culture, process and goals for the better.
Tap into the ideas of customers and staff to make decisions rather than pushing decisions down to staff that make very little logical sense.
Collaboration, communication, and valuing people as more than just numbers in the company. It would be great to see progression pathways, workshops, and external training budgets. Incentivize with things other than fair salary raises.
