I enjoy the work that I do, however as an employee I do not feel valued by the company. That is not to say my supervisor, but the actual leadership. No 401k match, high cost of benefits, limited personal time and sick time. Leadership also took workers from salary to hourly, despite growing.

They were very efficient in getting back to me, and all of the interview questions seemed relevant. The interviewer seemed interested in me as a person. They were helpful in answering all of my questions.

Our team is a group of like-minded individuals, who definitely want to support the students in the best possible ways, using evidence-based best practices. Our team leaders are helpful and knowledgeable. Our team is well-trained and are energized for the work, and not burnt out.

No 401k match, high cost for benefits, and the decision to make workers hourly. Therefore we do not get paid for snow days or other times when the schools close, rather than paying employees fairly for the entire school year, as most education systems do.

The fact that no one is burnt out by this work. I have heard in other educational settings that teachers and counselors/social workers get burnt out by the students, leadership and general work. The coworkers and leadership I have interacted with are still energized and believe in this work.
