Common motivation to make a product successful in a tough space. People who I respect and who seem pretty "grounded". Super smart and capable.
I have a lot of confidence that they can operate a company like this, and I think they've been confronted w/ a scaling-the-biz challenge that they seem to be largely on top of.
Talking to my colleagues on my team. The intellectual challenge of making a product work. Also worth mentioning is that the dev env is a) good b) easy to take for granted, c) improving regularly
I think I realized at the Puerto Rico offsite that I genuinely like the average person at this company, and perhaps even the vast majority - i.e. people who might make up a pretty neat community if they all lived together in the same neighborhood. I think it might be a first for me.
