The people I work with are all super smart, hardworking, and dedicated.
They need leadership training. Especially at the team lead level. Hanlon's Razor, Peter Principle, you name it.
The only good thing about it is the other people. The leadership is so toxic, everyone is burned out and miserable. People are afraid Slack is being monitored so they all text each other now. It's a mess.
The "unlimited vacation" comes with a catch: you can't actually use it, you have to be always-on. My manager was slacking me when I told him I was unavailable because I was in the Urgent Care clinic. That's just unacceptable.
It's been a year and the software doesn't work. Sales is overstaffed, all other departments are understaffed. Everyone is beyond burned out. The priority is on SELLING not on making a good product that works and that we can be proud of. It's frustrating.
