I am rather new still but I do like that the comp plan retroactively takes effect once quota is met or the next level of pay scale is met! It's reassuring knowing that the work you put in is recognized.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The "unlimited vacation" comes with a catch: you can't actually use it, you have to be always-on. My manager was slacking me when I told him I was unavailable because I was in the Urgent Care clinic. That's just unacceptable.

I would like a more holistic compensation structure and a higher base. Would be nice to get a gym membership out of it too as well as more happy hours for the people who live close by in cities.

The level of maturity needs to be improved across the company. I have some coworkers with who I enjoy collaborating with and others who have a bad attitude and do not communicate professionally. Leadership from the top approves of this behavior which is disappointing.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

It's mostly because the product doesn't work as it should. As you're bring in customers. there are expectations. I feel like we're hearing things are working as an MVP, but in reality it isn't. It's an integrity/ethics thing.

It's been a year and the software doesn't work. Sales is overstaffed, all other departments are understaffed. Everyone is beyond burned out. The priority is on SELLING not on making a good product that works and that we can be proud of. It's frustrating.

There is overall a lack of communication and transparency between teams. Information is hidden from certain teams which hinders others to do their job properly.

I think that we need to hire better and have less tolerance for people who are unprofessional/negative. There are a lot of toxic employees that have a negative outlook toward the product and spoil the well for other people who are new or want to maintain a positive attitude.
