I like my manager. She's very understanding. As for the company they are inept as a management team can be. Honestly the way the do business is completely nonsensical. So much can be upgraded and made more profitable, but they'd rather just sit back and let their phony bonuses pile up.

They are little to no ways of increasing your pay at staples. Even if you do great work and you are a very profitable member of the team they still treat you like your a new hire. I've had so many coworkers leave because they are not compensated in accordance with the amount of work they do.

What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are all very friendly and most of the managers as well. I only have a problem with the store manager and assistant store manager.

my fellow co workers are amazing. my immediate supervisor was awful. would yell at us, on the floor, in front of customers. we had no store manager, front end supervisor, or assistant manager. They were all ran off by our DM. nothing can be done because he was hand picked by the RM

if it wouldnt have been for the P&M supervisor, i would have left a long time ago. It is her alone that kept me wanting to go to work. I would have panic attacks sitting in my car before work. I hated going in because I knew what was in store for me.

when i was hired in, it was perfect. the store manager as well as 1 other manager sat in, asked questions, then came back with a follow up. after they left, the DM did the interviews and they were more or less, if you had the ability to get to work, you were hired. no one cared. hired anyone.

first, they closed our store because of everything. no supervisors would last either because of fraud or they figured out how awful it was. the customers hated coming in towards the end because most of the staff were mean to them. we knew the store was closing. I did everything i could to stay happy

The company doesn't take advantage of new improvements in technology. Our inventory system is built straight out of the 90s. It makes finding anything for our customers a nightmare.
