Staples Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Very to the point and quick

We ask tough questions to be sure folks can handle the work and do what they say they can do.

Opportunity to meet those I would be working with

Metting the interim manager at the time

Review from Sales Dept

That they had two people interview me

People were friendly and were excited to interview me.

My GM is very personable

It was fast and not complicated

Give the regular questions. Easy to prepare.

Everyone was nice and fun and kind

It was rather easy. I didnt have to sell myself to hard.

It was difficult but attainable.

quick and no wasted time on needless questions

Meeting new people, fresh perspective

Comfortable setting and conversation. Getting to know a little about the manager at the same time.

A quick application gets you instantly slotted into an interview, the application takes about 25-30 minutes to fill out.

Don’t remember. Not relevant. Work on employee retentio

Long and in depth process

Me getting the job b

They allowed me to schedule the interview almost immediately after applying. Good for people who deal better with person to person vs. presenting themselves on paper.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Company needs to be honest and upfront with job seekers on what to expect while working there. Very decieving and misleading

Two diff websites to apply on and couldn't tell which ones to keep replying to. Job openings not true. Falsifying openings . No return calls

Offer employees more money to attract quality workers.

Be upfront with prospective employees. Do not say things to get them on board and then change your mind.

Tell the truth about the job and set goals and expectations

Be more professional and stop being judgemental.

They just want fresh meat for the grinder.

when i was hired in, it was perfect. the store manager as well as 1 other manager sat in, asked questions, then came back with a follow up. after they left, the DM did the interviews and they were more or less, if you had the ability to get to work, you were hired. no one cared. hired anyone.
