They're easygoing and are flexible with scheduling

My manager is a good person and keeps a level head, he is the only reason that, after having a stapler literally thrown at me by a customer, I continued to show up every day and try my best, it wasn't for Staples or some corporate mission, it was for him.
They work together and they "walk the talk". They are the role models for the company
They are all friendly and help when needed
I feel more appreciation should be shown for the drivers as we are the ones with contact with the customers
They lead by example. They show you how to do things and are willing to help. Everyone understands the importance of teamwork and step into any position when needed.
Open atmosphere and all are like one big family
They care about my concerns
They are willing to teach and help you grow,
They work with what they have
My leadership truly cares about the team. This shows in things like schedule accommodations and, out of their own pocket, stocking the breakroom with food so that no one goes without a meal (which is a big deal when your pay was so far beneath industry standard BEFORE the sudden rise in inflation).
Tean work its great team
No matter how many times i need help they are always there
There's no leadership where I'm at. My coworkers gave me an option get fired or quit I decided to stay despite of the unethical conduct and unwelcome behaviors I take every single day despite I have a disability it's not fair but it is what it is.
Again I just started a week ago
My supervisor for both the floor and the copy center helped me learn a lot and made me welcome there but the gm had changed about 4 times in 4 months and the sales manager isn't liked by most of the associates nor the other managers
Very patient and understanding to each employees unwise situations. We are set for success and no one steps on each other’s toes. In company culture allows for growth and a decent work life balance without any politics which is crucial
What team? There is no team
We are all in this together
They get us food sometimes
Organization, communication, and strategic planning
Train the stores Print and Marketing Department
Keeping everyone on a level playing field.
Champion the team, not the customer.
Advocating for their employees and condoning a gossip and judgement free working environment.
Everything they are pure disfunction
Encourage employees instead of threatening
Moral is low due to lack of staffing and most of the good employees are overworked and angry
Understanding what customers actually come in to do.
Good for ADHD people who like to stay busy
Not forming clicks! Give Merit raises based on performance, and not personal opinion.
Staffing turn over is to frequent. The manager has no basic common sense of math.
Review from Operations Dept
literally everything needs to improve
Treating their employees better, Respecting their employees and overall show a sign of appreciation towards them.
Review from Sales Dept
They should care more about people working there
Supporting their associates experiences in the retail environment
The leadership team doesn't care one bit about any of its employees. One minute you're in, the next you're out. Ever year about April they "layoff" a large number of employees, while the following Monday, bring in the next batch.
In ten years at Staples, I have seen no less than 50 Staples managers get chewed up and spat out...it seems Staples needs managers even LESS than it needs innovative team members.
Social skills and being able to take constructive criticism; very easy to get on management's bad side for the entirety of your stay.
They need to care, for one.
