My manager is a good person and keeps a level head, he is the only reason that, after having a stapler literally thrown at me by a customer, I continued to show up every day and try my best, it wasn't for Staples or some corporate mission, it was for him.
They work together and they "walk the talk". They are the role models for the company
They are all friendly and help when needed
I feel more appreciation should be shown for the drivers as we are the ones with contact with the customers
They lead by example. They show you how to do things and are willing to help. Everyone understands the importance of teamwork and step into any position when needed.
Organization, communication, and strategic planning
Train the stores Print and Marketing Department
Keeping everyone on a level playing field.
Champion the team, not the customer.
Advocating for their employees and condoning a gossip and judgement free working environment.
Overall I feel it is very strong.
I like the insurance package
I feel the as a ASM we should be paid more due to the responsibilities that we are required to do.

Contract role. So I can save on taxes
The pay is good, but you literally pay for it
I've been with the company for over 25 years and I still don't make the max for my position
Want one person to do the job of 5 people while being paid barely above minimum wage
10 topped off pallets to be done each week by associate ridiculous
Too many expectations compared to the salary
Give Merit raises based on performance, not personal opinion
Most people work hard, provide great customer service and want to do the right thing. For the long-tenured employees it's like a family
We all feel the same.
For the most part and hard working group
great team work and knowledge
I loved working with the majority of our team. Some of them really wanted to make a difference in their jobs and that of customer experiences. I could always count on the vast majority of them if I asked them for help.
Co-workers need to be held accountable more for their work. Some do the bare minimum and continue to keep their job without discipline.
Too many under qualified managers
Take initiatve and make meaningful contributions to the workforce to help alliviate the stress and burdensome tasks of the job.
Come prepared to give 100% every day
Company moral sometimes felt low because no one genuinely enjoyed their jobs.
The lighting in the building, the air/heat in the building, game room, and the staples store
The family environment we've built together supporting each other
We are paid weekly and remote work opportunities
friendliness of the drivers I work with
The people I work with
I feel that my manager has not provided the adequate amount of training.

General managers and above need to be seen as more human and see their employees as human as well. It is hard to have any communications with someone who believes they are above you in every way.
What needs to change for the coworkers to stop on welcome behaviors bullying sabotaging the co-workers being persistent to the manager to get rid of you because of their personal reasons not giving you a chance especially when you have a disability going on
They need to stop unethical conduct they need to stop unwelcome behaviors they need to stop judging their co-workers like they have the right to they need to stop coworkers giving them options either to get fired or quit because of the unwelcome behaviors that the employee gets that they don't like
Everything everything everything. Especially management
Very to the point and quick
We ask tough questions to be sure folks can handle the work and do what they say they can do.
Opportunity to meet those I would be working with
Metting the interim manager at the time
Review from Sales Dept
That they had two people interview me
Company needs to be honest and upfront with job seekers on what to expect while working there. Very decieving and misleading
Two diff websites to apply on and couldn't tell which ones to keep replying to. Job openings not true. Falsifying openings . No return calls
Offer employees more money to attract quality workers.
Be upfront with prospective employees. Do not say things to get them on board and then change your mind.
Tell the truth about the job and set goals and expectations
We are winning and making progress!
Thst i get to help reep it running
Working with friends and my regular customers
Making customers happy and also coworkers
Being on the road by myself
Lack of effective leadership. The employees tend to be knowledgeable and hard working in their areas, but the lack of effective leadership often results in work halted or left incomplete.
hire a diverse management staff
Update systems. Update pay. Stop threatening. Create a team environment
It starts at the top. Staples upper management absolutely knows they need to change.
This company is definitely failing as a whole, and is starting to move to an online front instead of retail. The issue is both website and retail options do not have any real communication so most customers come inside for items retail does not sell. Useless/random products are sold a lot.
better manager and real training
