Staples Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The lighting in the building, the air/heat in the building, game room, and the staples store

The family environment we've built together supporting each other

We are paid weekly and remote work opportunities

friendliness of the drivers I work with

The people I work with

Good customers really and one coworker

coworkers are all good folks

Non judgemental and progressive culture

Only positive when we get sales/hit numbers. When we don't it's a nightmare. Cutthroat competition to get hours.

da da da da da

That the managers spend their days in the office and don't bother the employees.

Review from Sales Dept

The staff, outside of store management, had to be the most positive experience I had at Staples.

nothing at all, at all

Nothing. Everything is bad. Save yourself while you can

Benefits for ft is only thing

rtjur rjt rtjtrr rtjrtjt ye

Hours of availability for part timers

For the most part those that come to work consistently, work well together. We help each other with customers and with questions

It respects religion and beliefs here

Love the customers that cone in

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

I feel that my manager has not provided the adequate amount of training.

Review from Operations Dept

General managers and above need to be seen as more human and see their employees as human as well. It is hard to have any communications with someone who believes they are above you in every way.

What needs to change for the coworkers to stop on welcome behaviors bullying sabotaging the co-workers being persistent to the manager to get rid of you because of their personal reasons not giving you a chance especially when you have a disability going on

They need to stop unethical conduct they need to stop unwelcome behaviors they need to stop judging their co-workers like they have the right to they need to stop coworkers giving them options either to get fired or quit because of the unwelcome behaviors that the employee gets that they don't like

Everything everything everything. Especially management

they will never change and are clear about that

make the company fair and just

provide better learning scope for self development

Review from Sales Dept

New leadership at VP and above.

Actually value the hourly employees.

Add payroll and increase staffing lwvels

I feel that the work environment would improve if the sales manager was gone.

Review from Sales Dept

Give a damn about your employees

Clearer strategy and priorities and long term planning

Review from Marketing Dept

Senior Leaders need to take a look at the bottom up and ask the right questions. Better benefits more time off for tenured people not just newbies, better raises and bonuses for the people doing the work, not just making decisions.

Review from Operations Dept

better pay for management and letting managers manage

Review from Sales Dept

I cannot fathom any way to save this wreck of a company

Review from IT Dept

Less criticizing more support less false promises

Review from Operations Dept

Better management, more reasonable pace, better compensation. All non management employees are miserable.

Review from Sales Dept

Treat the employees with respect
