I am still relatively new to DP so I am not formally immersed into the culture yet. But any company that puts animal wellness first is great in my eyes.
I came in under my normal salary requirements so I was aware of that coming onboard. But I see other similar DP jobs posted with considerably higher salaries. Or other people coming in at Senior Roles brand new to DP.
The biggest positive is that we are all here for the greater good and wellness of pets. The environment is very casual and you can feel comfortable that on calls your questions will be appreciated. There seems to be a lot of growth potential where warranted.
I came in at a lower rate than what I was making previously. So I was aware of that coming in. However, the position was originally posted to go up to a higher rate and I was told only $x was budgeted for the role. There was no wiggle room or bonus opportunities. New roles posted w/ higher salaries
