young, international team and dog friendly environment
very nice first round interview, overall not very difficult questions
Leadership isn't really existent. The company has only three levels: CEO, managers and interns. The managers aren't experienced and just check on the interns' customer service work, nothing more. The CEO creates negative pressure on the managers. Lack of strategy and structure
The compensation for interns is ok. Anyhow it's not an internship that teaches a lot, it's a job that would usually be done from a customer service person. So interns are just the cheap way around paying an employee who would earn more.
With most colleagues (interns) the atmosphere is good, but not with management. They talk bad about interns and colleagues, gossip a lot. It also always feels like there is a competition between departments and blaming for mistakes. When the CEO is in the office everyone is very tense.
The company calls themselves startup but only takes this name as an excuse to not hire people, pay low wages and change their mind often. It would be time to hire people with more expertise and not only interns and to develop a long term strategy and clear communication
