The people I've met have been wonderful. It's a shame they are muzzled and held back by leadership. My experience has been toxic.
It's been amazing. Our leadership team fosters an amazing people culture where people are motivated to do their jobs and do them well, while having a sense of humor along the way. We are fully supported, but not micromanaged. We are encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes.
Making strategic decisions and holding themselves accountable.

prefer not to say - prefer not to say
I'm new so I don't really know yet. still learning.
The people at the IC level here are truly great.
They say what they mean and mean what they say.
That it's in-line with top competitors and I'm being paid fairly and on par with my male peers.
While ICs are great, the workplace overall is toxic. This comes from the top down. Micromanagement and gaslighting abound.
they are genuinely helpful - do not throw other people under the bus or compete in a way that is counter productive
That I'm challenged, supported and while I'm expected to perform, we're not being managed out of fear, which I've had at other companies in the past.
Comp is good on paper, but such a small % of reps actually hit their goals, so "on paper" is where it ends. Leadership also does not recognize folks who go above and beyond. They just want robots.
ICs at Nextdoor are great. They hire really smart, creative people who try to make the best of a terrible product. The problem is that leadership blocks them every step of the way so it's just a road to nowhere.
Their transparency and the people culture they foster. This is by far the most transparent leadership team I have ever worked for in my entire adult career. Beyond being transparent, culture comes from the top down and they truly create a workspace where everyone is welcome and supported.
That everyone is nice. Nobody is a jerk here. Everyone takes their job seriously, but there's a balance here that I've not had elsewhere, where there is certainly an expectation to do your job and do it well, but you are never made to feel scared if that makes sense.
