Company is very frugal and total compensation reflects that. Won't do 401K match and even the best tallent is not receiving stock grants. Seeing total compensation drop over time.
It's refreshing working at a company which is actually doing good in the world- knowing we protect companies, their employees and their customers from threat actors who can do real damage to them and their lives is really great.
One of our culture tenents is "Teamwork". Sadly, executives believe this is only appropriate for fire fighting and teams are strongly encouraged to work independently rather than collaboratively, which means lots of re-inventing the wheel (often poorly) and poor communication.
Leadership team is very honest, but generally sets low expectations. Company does really well mostly because the competition is incompetent/distracted and we execute better. But "better" is very relative here and there are a lot of internal challenges due to poor leadership.
