Work as a team. Sears was a great company at one time. Every day I am asked when are we closing. Negative reports everyday on the news.
There are only two of us in my Dept. and we're fine.. Downstairs needs improvement.. I don't have a problem with them but some are lacking.
Reduced hours, and jobs being eliminated, so more work and with no increase in pay --- the team is frustrated. Not always a happy bunch!!!
Telling people what to do without taking them through it hands on, does not inspire people to do well. Emails don't cut it.
More affirmation and less harping on credit applications and Shop Your Way rates would go a long way to improve working together.
never says to anyone you are doing a very good job in what you do and glad you are here with US
Top level needs to use the great RETAIL-experience in stores! Too much micro-managers from non-retail techies trying to reinvent themselves!
working as a team is always better...rough to do when you are one person in a department per shift
Low level associates know what to do and how to get things done. Management just won't let them.
Have more time to talk outside the work zone. Get to know each other better.
Management encourages fierce competition between co-workers. This usually causes a hostile work environment.
To help each other when needed without a it's not my job attitude
Interpersonal conflicts need to be confronted not swept under the table.
My team needs better training to reach their potential.
