Compensation adjustments (absent mid-year promotions) all take place annually in March. Normally, groups are given a target compensation number that is to be managed to (in normal years this is around 2%). Managers have some discretion within their team on how to distribute the pool of available money in their department. As long as they are (as a group) at their target, the compensation will typically be approved. Bonus eligible positions are also reviewed during this time. Bonuses are determined by your position and then consider the bonus pool that is approved by the Board. Bonus percentages vary. Decent rule of thumb - positions under $100K in salary will typically see bonus eligibility between 6-10%. Salaries in the $150k range will see bonuses in the 25-40% range. That's an approximation. It really depends on your specific position.
Merit raises are given in March, effective in April, and for the past several years they have been very low 1-3% (if you get one at all), not even enough to compete with Cost of Living Increases. Unless of course you’re upper management, then it seems you have it made. If you are bonus eligible those are paid in March. I would not be counting on any bonuses for 2017, unless of course you’re management. This would be the first time in 14 years I haven’t received one but they are dropping hints and making shady moves to makes one consider they’re up to something. WF has turned me into a cynic.
Not often enough and not enough $$$. We get a percent of our pay. Sadly cost of living is more that 3% of my wage. last year my pay increase did not cover my health care increase. So all the other things in life that went up. HA!!! I do with out!!! like clothing, necessary house improvements. Heaven help us if we have a medical emergency! can't pay for any thing extra!!! I DO WITHOUT. I DO NOT GET $2 MILL BONUSES!!!! I DONT' EVEN GET A BONUS. PERIOD. NOT EVEN A CHRISTMAS / END OF YEAR 'GIFT'
I have been there 18 years and only make a little over 17 an hour. 1% is all that can be expected. I have perfect reviews. The fact is unless you are management you will be become poorer and poorer each year based on the cost of living increases. When we hear wages increasing all over the country it isn’t within Wells Fargo.
Horrible pay. Expect 1-2% increase every year, while the cost of living increases are more??? To be in a position for 18 years with great reviews, I still do not make 25% of my listed pay range??? In fact, our newest employees on the team, which I trained, is basically make the same salary as me?????
Raises are capped at 2% and occur annually but really most people receive no raise or 1%. They try to scam you with the Market Reference Point for a job but if you do the math you'd get to that point in 20-50 years of that position.
If you’re not a manager then forget about it. If you are new to your position and excelling at it you will still we get a low raise which is extremely unfortunate.
Making the minimum hire in rate of $15 an hour and I’ve been there for nearly 3 years. Really hoping I get a raise soon, I need it so bad.
Wells Fargo give annual raises and the max for most employees are 2%. Which is not much . Inflation is up 7% and employees only receive 2% increases.
Raises happen just about every year in March, usually affective two pay periods later. I've gotten 1.5% a couple of times, 1%, and once, nothing.
I am a teller and my quarterly bonus was $89. And that is with excellent ratings which is what the bonus is based on.
One a year in March. If you are lucky, 1-2% raise, and do not have cost of living adjustment. Upper management gets more.
Horrible program. Raises should be increased in amount or increased in frequency simple. What is the point of a midpoint if it’s never attainable.
Annually, rarely excessive but comparable to market. Don’t expect to be “right-sized” IF you over perform.
When wellsfargo raises minimum wage does employers work for many years get more than the minimum wage
1-5% max, depending on performance and how close to market value you came in. Very fair.
Have not gotten one yet, but I've only been here 2 months
Yearly for much less than the inflation amount/
once a year and only like 1%
0-5% is what I have seen.
I think once a year?
Pennies once a year
1-2% a year
Never
Annually
