I love Anritsu and the people here. We have a close group of people who are all working towards the same goal. I like that we are always there to help each other meet deadlines and complete goals.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I love my company and love being owned by a Japanese company. We have interesting and valuable products and make a difference in the world with our services and tools. I am proud to be an employee and wish that our leadership had more knowledge and education or what I do or would trust what I do.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love coming to work to see my co-workers and I love my job.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they communicate and keep the employees aware of how we are doing.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love how we are close and work well together and can rely on each other. We are a tight, close, family.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love how our company has events for the employees to show how much we are appreciated. Every little thing is appreciated.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been working in this industry for over 30 years and have the same pay and title as I had when I graduated from college.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I enjoy the supportive people that are at our company. I try to stay away from the negative environment and concentrate on the positive. Japanese owned companies are very respectful and supportive. They believe in good and hard working people. Respect is always encouraged and key!
What are some of the best things about your team?
I can trust my team and we work well together. We support each other in our positions and are available to help out when needed. We understand each others position and respect/trust each others decision and knowledge. My team is great, our leadership isn't as supportive or knowledgeable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I don't think some of the leadership team knows enough about all the departments that they work with making it difficult for the leaders to be supportive and understand the purpose and importance of the departments. They need to trust their employees/subject matter experts so they can do their jobs.
What makes you most happy at work?
I used to be very happy and excited to go to work. Lately, the environment has felt very hostile, unwelcoming, and untrusting. I just want to do my job and do it well without any disruptions. I have over 30 years of experience in what I do and do it well. Working with my counterparts makes me happy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My title and the job position that I have are not the same and have not changed, even when I have asked. I wear lots of hats and am not appreciated by my leadership team for doing what I do. I do it for the company and to support my work ethics even though I am not compensated for the work I do.
