I am having a great time at Calix. My son is finishing up his summer internship and he hopes to work at Calix after he gets his Computer Engineering degree. Calix is fun to work at, the work is very meaningful, and it is awesome to see the positive impact that we make with our customers.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Calix makes society better by helping rural communities become future-proof, so that their citizens will want to continue live and work there. This mission is very altruistic and something I really want to be a part of. I have loved my time so far at Calix and look forward to the future.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Employees truly care about each other and management is very motivated to make us all successful.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very engaged with the employees and provide active updates to the extended team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Calix has very good benefits. I particularly love our medical plan. It is very comprehensive, affordable, with low deductibles.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All of us on our team want to make our customers successful and will do whatever it takes to make it happen.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The extended Marketing team at Calix is very close. We just had a company offsite in Chicago and it was a great team-building experience.
What makes you most happy at work?
At Calix we all generally work from home, but everyone collaborates well with each other virtually. I truly feel a sense of accomplishment every day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Calix has excellent healthcare plans, a great bonus structure, pays for our internet, buys us standing desks and ergonomic home office furniture, and has very flexible time off.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone at Calix works hard, but everyone has fun doing it. Also, everyone has a customer-first mentality, so we are always striving to make things better for our customers.
What makes you most happy at work?
My job is great because every day is focused on making our broadband service provider customers successful with the Calix portfolio. At Calix, we make society better one connected community at a time.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The Calix leaders are extremely approachable. If you feel that you need to contact them, you can absolutely do so. And they truly expect you to contact them if you have an idea on how to make the business run better.
