The benefits are great. I also appreciate how often my manager and the executive teams proactively bring up my salary and want to see my career continue to develop. I feel like I am valued and would never feel nervous asking for a raise if I felt it was time that I might deserve one.

Most mid to senior management at Calix are Mavericks or Venturers, indifferent to structure, details, or processes. Direct reports must quickly execute their leaders' spontaneous ideas. The organization lacks skills in analysis, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and clear communication.
