Calix has been a wonderful company to work for. I love being a part of Calix. The team and culture really is amazing. It is very fast paced and we all do a lot but I think there is meaning around the work which really helps everyone feel invested.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is open and shares information regularly. They are straight forward which I appreciate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team truly does care for one another. We are supported by each other. The team is always happy to help even if it isn't necessarily their space.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am pulled in many different directions and support many different verticals, but my contributions aren't recognized because I am not the salesperson that signs the deal in the end.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love seeing my coworkers. I was hesitant about online meetings at first and the camera on culture but now I do really love it. It makes meetings more engaging, and we get things resolved faster.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I appreciate that I can call on my CEO to help with an account if I make the case that his input would be valuable. He takes the time for our customers which is really impressive. The rest of the team really supports each other and we all understand the fast pace in which we go.
