Despite joining during the COVID shutdown I never felt like I did not get to know my peers and Executive leadership. The pace is fast -sometimes too fast- but we have ambitious goals and we need to work quickly to accomplish them. I understand and support the strategic direction of the company.

Calix is a forward looking company that is growing fast. The company is also very friendly to remote employees. The vision for the company is solid and achievable - it is an exciting place to work!

They are highly collaborative. I have never faced a challenge alone.

We get lots of little gifts and perks that are unexpected (but appreciated).

I feel like I am accomplishing things and solving real problems for our customers.

It is a very collaborative culture and we are all excited about what we do.

They have a clear vision, they communicate it frequently with us and we all have goals that roll up to the achievement of the vision.

The pay and benefits are nice and appreciated. I really like the little extras like the Zoom dinners or the gifts like shirts, prepaid cards or other Calix swag.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like when I finish a project or deliver something and I have a moment to reflect on the accomplishment. I enjoy interacting with my team on scrum calls or ideating a solution.
