For a while I drank the DaVita Kool-Aid, but after seeing the repeated lawsuits by patients, the government and Teammates, I could finally see the ruse that DaVita is and then they unexpectedly cut my bonus by 60%, despite a very good performance review, with no explanation. Sorry, game over.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Worker bees are great, they live the DaVita Way and Management exploits that , taking advantage of people's emotional vs rational side.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
DaVita consistently finds ways to skim money off it's Teammates, Patients and the Marketplace. 401k match only paid annually, unpaid overtime for hourly workers who risk losing their license if they don't, poor salary and a bonus program that only pays about 25-50% of what they say it does.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
DaVita's business model is unsustainable & to keep Stockholders & Senior Leadership compensated in stock they have to skim profits and costs. 80%+ of DaVita patients are Medicare/caid & they lose money on these patients. This population is only growing so DaVita has to use cleaver ruses to profit
