I love seeing patients and firmly believe in the mission, but the corporate side is difficult. We are under supported and stretched too thin. We have unreasonable expectations with no resources. It undermines my belief in leadership's ability to gauge what resources are needed to achieve their goals
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Dispatch embodies an optimism that if not often found in the healthcare space.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love the clinical teams and I appreciate interacting with my team. I think some interactions are often strained because everyone is overallocated and under supported.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think our leadership team has lofty and important goals in the healthcare space and I think those goals could vastly improve health outcomes and the quality of life for vulnerable people.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Our team is overallocated and under supported. I have historically been given "deliverables" that are not possible and simply lack the resources. I do not get reasonable time with my supervisor as they are more focused on their areas of interest rather than all programs in their purview
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as though I have to fight for appropriate compensation, although I am highly qualified in my area. This company tends to underpay young employees, even though they may be more qualified. I believe in equal pay for equal work. For a long time I was making an unlivable wage for my area.
