I've been here for a long time and seen lots of ups and downs. RIght now I am scared that we are in a valley and not setting ourself apart from our compeitition. Overall Heartland is a great company, still has some of the family vibe. Global is a little different and doesn't feel as comfortable.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Great Insurance, Great vacation/sick/PTO package
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team cares about each other, we truly are a family. We have the ability to care about our merchants and get to know them and their business.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When In person we have a great vibe on our team. Our direct management cares about us and wants us to enjoy our work day. They work hard to ensure we are appreciated.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
DIrect leadership is honest and transparent about our role and the CHANGES that are being implemented. They share the little information they are given with us to ensure we know our daily tasks. I am appreciated from my direct leadership.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Communication from upper corporate management is sugar coated. Too worried about shareholders perception. This world is a crazy right now and we are moving forward saying "we know this happened, but lets forget about it and move on". Decisions/pricing/service are not handled the right way.
