How employees describe working at Heartland

Heartland Payments is by far the worst company for so many reasons but mostly due to the high volume of unauthorized amd fraudulent payments and fees that are taken out of accounts several years AFTER businesses close. I hope that a class action lawsuit is placed against Heartland.

Even the simplest of payroll changes and requests are mishandled near 100% of the time. Even by team leads. Its maddening when I have a payroll service so I don't have to deal with it but I have to constantly monitor it to get things done correctly and fixed. A complete waste of time and effort.

Overall, I enjoyed working for the company and loved a lot of my coworkers. Made some amazing friends and networked.

We used to be Heartland. That meant something. The name stood for something. Global has taken it all away.

From the building to walking in the door everyone make you feel like family
