The benefits have been good and the employees seem to be treated well. We are constantly hearing about record profit numbers but I wish that this success would "trickle down" and be factored in to the annual raises, especially in the current inflated economy.
What makes you most happy at work?
Finally solving a complex technical problem that I have been stuck on for a while.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone likes each other and enjoys interacting with each other. There is no drama and we work together as a team successfully.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is friendly, it seems like the executives are willing to talk if there are any issues. Popcorn Fridays and food trucks are nice.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I got a 6% raise last year, which is "above average" for Radiance but in January 2022 the Consumer Price Index indicated it has increased 7.5% over the past 12 months, which means that my raise doesn't even make up for inflation. This is discouraging. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/cpi.pdf
