Radiance has the highest level of average education/credentials of any place I've worked. Due to our industry, DoD contracting, we aren't always getting to use as recent or as ergonomic technologies as I have used elsewhere but we do well for working with the government. The leadership is visible.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They hold to ESOP convictionally. Strong conviction provides for great depth of leadership and also great stability.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my team is the small contingent which shows up in the office. I love having people to work with in-person.
What makes you most happy at work?
There are people in the office I can talk to and work with. I can spin around in my chair once again and just ask a question. There is comradery.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The managers are relaxed (not to say lenient, but comfortable) and there are five kinds of coffee in the break room and they're actually good. The quality of the coffee has been a surprisingly consistent indicator of work environment quality.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The PPO costs the same or less than my high deductible plans at other companies and unlike the high deductible I don't need to fund an HSA! The education benefits are also awesome, the short commitment afterwards says they're hoping to keep you based on loyalty not indebtedness.
