What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The work-from-home environment has been positive, as it has significantly reduced company travel expenses and also increased efficiencies (commute time being exchanged for productive work time).

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like when the leadership team is transparent about the company's direction and performance. I also like when the leadership team takes the time to recognize employees and celebrate success and wins.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is colloborative, inclusive, hard-working, results driven, and goal-oriented. They are pasionate about AP's mission, our university partners, and our students. They also exude and model AP's core vlaues, especially integrity.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My compensation is significantly lower than my counterparts in a comparable role; based on industry data for my position, my compensation is also below the minimum threshold for my role and responsibilities. A 2-3% annual increase is also not aligned with COLA, which is 5.9% for 2022.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Too many back-to-back meetings and no time to complete actual work. I would like to see AP adopt a 10, 20, or 50 minute meeting standard and the Executive Leadership team set the precedent and model by example. This allows built-in "bio break" time and pivoting from one meeting to the next.
