It's been up and down depending on the quality of my manager/director. There have been lengths of time where it was incredibly difficult to come to work due to poor management. Currently, there is a better quality of management on my team which has made life better.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know (and Smarsh knows) that they are not the highest paying company in the software industry. Yet they work their employees extremely hard and expect the impossible.

My role is underpaid compared to the market here in Portland, it's a fact. If Smarsh is serious about retaining talent, they should pay better wages. This is an expensive town to live in and annual pay increases should better reflect that, if nothing else.
