When I am allowed to be a R&D engineer and when I get a chance to work on solving interesting problems

We solve challenging problems which are hard to find outside the EDA industry. Synopsys is one of the few EDA companies left.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
More investment in R&D and personal career growth. The team is way too focused on marketing and business only and lack long term vision
