I came here a year back and I'm part of internal tools team majorly computer science based. tech has to be improved for CS , In big cities inflation and taxes doesn't even feel like we have a pay raise , Work culture is good but work place is bad in banglore RMZ infinity

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In city like Bangalore where everything is costly inflation is 8-10%, 30% income taxes. 10% hike is actually invisible. Even promotion hikes look invisible

The raise is bit lesser comparatively for this city like Bangalore. Since, the taxes are bit high we don't even feel like there is a raise even after promotion.
