Synopsys is a great company, but just need to take a closer look into the local situation and the higher level managers if they are really fulfilling all their responsibilities.

My work and the fact that company knows how I am doing and cares, and acknowledge my contribution
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
To change work atmosphere, definitely manager should be changed to a person that communicate and manage people well. It's getting better, but all the troubles within the team were triggered by manager. Also I would like local HR to be more attentive whenever issue was brought up.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Company should pay more to the employees who contribute more to the company, but it feels like there is a too much manager's decision and personal emotions involved when evaluating employees. My manager keeps employees in check who are superior than him, which makes people less motivated.
