The Knot Worldwide – My department definitely works you as hard as they can. I came in, worked as hard as I could, doing overtime for weeks on end, and they still told me I wasn't doing enough. I did a 14hr work day to help catch the team up and my boss asked to confirm it, but didn't say anything nice for doing it. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

We used to have a couple meetings where we'd be able to chat about things other than work. That was fun, but we don't have very many meetings like that anymore.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My pay is a great deal lower than what I should be paid based on my experience. I should be much more valuable compared to my coworkers who have no experience, but we have the same pay.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I don't really know much about the leadership team. I'm assuming those are people at the top, like the CEO. It sounds like they are the ones implementing the additional time-off everyone gets around holidays, and unlimited PTO. I think that's amazing

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

From when I started to now, when I post a question to our Slack channel, most times no one answers me. I also feel like everyone assumes you don't know anything just because you're "new". I have ideas to improve our processes, but no one listens or takes me seriously.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Even though we're caught up answering customers on their orders, management keeps pushing and pushing us. No one has time to take the Udemy classes we have access to, or have a casual conversation to get to know each other. I was even yelled at for talking to coworkers about work.
