The Knot Worldwide – I have only been here for 3 months and the ramp up has been steep. The onboarding process IMO was not the best but I adapted. It is very agile as well as siloed so it takes getting used to. I think the company has good values and goals but there is always room for improvement. I am happy so far. | Comparably

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It has been a year, lots of change and growth. Business is scaling so lots of change. I think it is an exciting time which can also be frustrating but overall lots to learn, many challenging opportunities for growth and areas for not only efficiency but places to increase UX and revenue.

When it's BAU and issues are able to be quickly remedies.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My immediate team and larger team are a great group of supportive, talented and motivated individuals.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture is open, accepting of everyone, generally appreciative and likes to show their appreciation of others. It values employees and what they do.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Respect for each other and one anothers time. Genuine support of each other and their work. Willingness to help. Overall talented and just genuinely nice people.

What makes you most happy at work?

Besides having a job, l like being part of a larger team that is able to work collaboratively, accepts ideas and are innovative in thought and strategic approach and overall team spirit.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My direct reports are positive, engaged in their work, are motivated to take on more and supportive of each other. Cross functionally teams are engaged and friendly. Everyone has a positive attitude and wants to accomplish similar goals and likes to collaborate on ideas.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The are engaged, my executive team leader takes the time to meet and get to know individuals at all levels of the team. He takes a general interest and realizes the potential of each individual on his team and ensures that they are engaged, challenged and supported in their roles.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership genuinely cares about us but its in the execution of maintaining engagement, scaling the business and moving out of the silo models. We need more effective management and support from top down. Salaries and benefits also need to match industry wide and gender gap pay needs to change.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If you have direct reports there should be a reasonable gap between your salary and the members of your team. It is my opinion that the salary ranges merge very closely. I believe the ranges should also match up to cost of living and role expectation as well as industry standard / market.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

More robust retirement program with higher matching %. Now that we are remote support minimal work expenses such as phone charges, wifi, equipment / furniture etc since this is no longer a company expense. Keep medical benefits at a lower cost for those higher premium plans. Pay gap inequity.
