I used to LOVE working for The Knot WorldWide, but we had a new director come in, and frankly I can't get out of here faster. Leadership really makes a difference. My director is cruel and manipulative, having lied to me, lied to the VP above her, and even asked me to lie to accounting for her.

It used to be the people. People genuinely cared about each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems and getting wins. My manager makes it impossible for me to win.

We have a lot of positive energy that comes through our doors. People are genuinely excited to work here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Highering has strongly gone down hill, leadership is extremely disconnected to their employees, and they aren't bothering to do anything to keep the good employees that made this company great.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay in the offer letter you get is good, but every year you will be further seperated from your peers. At max, you should stay at TKWW for 2 years if you want to earn what you are worth.
