The Knot Worldwide – its been a mixed bag, my immediate team is excellent. But leadership isnt inspiring and i question the honesty of their messaging, as they love to say the employee is their most important asset but rarely/never back this up with meaningful action. The financial future of the company terrifies me. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is collaborative and highly skilled with minimal ego.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The work life balance is generally excellent at this company, sometimes to a fault - it can be difficult to ramp up into "go fast" mode when needed.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

We as a company really need to make more mature decisions based on on the experience of various SMEs, instead of coming up with ideas in silos and unleashing them on implementation teams half formed and not thought out.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The company hasn't figured out how to level the playing field among employees that were hired at different market conditions. More concerning is the utterly undefined and random "bonus" program for eligible employees (eligibility also random), which doesnt scale with salary and is frozen in time

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Very broad question - rethink how to get people to pay for services they can get for free in the internet, figure out how to add value. Make true self-service a thing. Solve or at least mitigate churn. Price hikes are not sustainable for growing revenue.
