Comparably’s 5th Annual list of Best CEOs for Diversity represents the top-ranked CEOs, based solely on sentiment ratings from employees of color on Comparably.com in the previous 12 months (June 24, 2021-June 24, 2022). Derived from 15 million ratings across 70,000 companies, the list is segmented by Top 100 CEOs of Large companies (more than 500 employees) and Top 100 CEOs of Small/Mid-size businesses (500 or less employees). Methodology

Comparably’s 5th annual Best CEOs for Women is derived solely from employees of color who anonymously rated their CEOs on Comparably.com over a 12-month period (June 24, 2021 through June 24, 2022).
The final data set was compiled from 15 million ratings across 70,000 companies large and small.
To qualify, Large companies (more than 500 employees) must have met a minimum of 75 employee participants and Small/Mid-Size companies (500 or less employees) must have met a minimum of 25 employee participants.
Additional weight was given to companies with more participation from their employee base, relative to their company size, for statistical significance.
There were no fees or costs associated with participating, nor was nomination required.
