BJ's Wholesale Club Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

They match you and you can get benifits

Weekly pay, decent insurance, bonus if the club does well

Review from Operations Dept

They match your 401k imput

Review from Sales Dept

401 k and earning days off for part time 40 hrs

Health insurance is very good if you opt in to the plan that fits your stage of life.

The time off I don't get bennifits

Not sure, havent put enough thought into it too give a cordial response.

I don't have a compensation package.

Weekly pay, benefits, like anywhere, are expensive

I'm pt so this does not apply to me. We do not get bonuses

Part time does not get much benefit

I'm not full time so not much benefit

Matching 401k as well as weekly pay through direct deposit which also needs to be addressed when needing to switch checking account information.

My 401k is the best compensation.

I was able to go on disability.

We weren't even invited to our last holiday party they threw a holiday party for the dayshift the evening shift in the night shift there was nothing

For part tume its fine

Review from Customer Support Dept

Saving and stock options and expert advise.

Just meeting the low end on compensation. The recent increase starting new team member was an excellent start

the pay rate being low - allows me to work more because of my health and social security

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I refuse to say anything unless its in an actual meeting

Compensation due to job well done rather then friend ship connection,

Working different shifts. Always helping out other departments but not receiving help in mine when I'm alone

Review from Sales Dept

I'm treated like crap and don't get my vacation times approved and don't find out it's been ignored or denied until I've come back.

Because im overworked and get threatenes by managment.

No sirve nada para nada

If they can keep a promise I guess I'll give them a 1

Want us to do 12 people's worth of work with 4 people. This is not an exaggeration.

I feel undervalued because I am worked to death, I'm not saying they shouldn't work me. But I would like to get paid for the amount of work I have to do instead of having a static amount of pay. Would atleast like more raises for better work ethic.

Review from Product Dept

They expect more and more of us everyday with less staff to help with these expectations, they'll work some people 8-9 days in a row and expect them to perform the same or better

The minimum wage is too low for a huge company. There's a lot of revenue they are making but with inflation now, the wage is not increasing to support our daily life. Its hard to shop for groceries and pay bills when dome peopke are still making $16/ hr in 2023.

Better company medical benefits or larger split

Fair pay, better pay.. Benefits are the absolute worst I have ever seen.

Get paid what i'm worth

Your overlooked for moving up into other areas when you are more than qualified. Training stinks not trained properly in certain positions. Certain areas like SCO, Cashiers and Member service desk need directions written out. Everyone does there own thing.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Career ladder and raises. Market Basket gives out bonuses.

Review from Operations Dept

Night time differently should be higher as well as pay for working on Sundays. OT should be not forced on it's employees. Medical benefits should be available to all and at a cheaper rate.

Because the company doesn't care about the team members all they care about is profits

Everything pay vacation time pay

We are so understaffed its incredibyk diffucult to meet management expectations goals. They need to be realistic.
