BJ's Wholesale Club Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

Most people who stay are good hard working people who are willing to not only help you but will go out of there way to show you how to learn more

Posted 23 days ago

They desire to help you and foster growth. We all want new people to stay. Help make it less stressful.

We get along like family

We all have a mutual understanding and often feel the same way about things towards people

Review from Sales Dept

Helping one another if need help w anything

They are friendly and always jump in to help when needed

Resilient and determined group of people

Some of them help out when needed hard workers, and very kind and caring

The coworkers are great and helpful

The friendship and willing to help each other out

Helpful, nice, productive, friendly to customers and coworkers.

Good workers. Very helpful everyone

Work ethics, and team moral

Most of my coworkers are hard working and team players.

There is good communication between staff and employees.

The team I worked with in the bakery was great. We all stuck up for one another but drama was an issue.

I really like a lot of my coworkers but management was very poor and lacking in empathy and compassion.

The fact that we all can keep each other grounded an make each other feel appreciated when the management doesn't

Not one thing, 15 days in, no one introduses themselves, not even Club Mgr. mot even a hello.

Effective, collaborative, understand our responsibility to the company

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Look at the cameras to see the lack of productivity.

Being more of a team

Review from Sales Dept

Cambiar los manager especial la de produce

Communication and honesty. Need to learn how to listen and be honest

Communication, team building, management that's actively Involved and comes to work, talking bad about one another

I am working on my own for most of my time

Review from Operations Dept

Coworkers are exhausted from the bullying and lack of adequate staffing. We need more staff. There are no meetings. There should be. There needs to be better access to HR beyond the store level to address the problem managers over their heads. Please ! Do it !

Review from Operations Dept

Grow up and act like adult's

Definitely they are rude, unhelpful, Extremely knowledgeable regarding BJ’S policies. And, all management spends hours in the parking lot smoking cigarettes. They miss a lot of phone calls and member assistance call

Review from Customer Success Dept

Under current market trends Bjs can not afford to properly screen and train management. Therefore, they hire or promote inadequate candidates with no professional people mentoring skills. The current trend in hiring is sparse, so that reflects directly within the company. Morale is low overall.

There are no meetings they let certain people do what they want

Review from Sales Dept

Respecting customers and each other

Review from Sales Dept

Talk to be like adults not like children

They are not the problem

realize they need to walk from one door to another

No one listens. Everybody does what they want. Management expresses zero guidance to any staff member

Coworkers need to not throw fellow employees under the bus. And keep their word

Better communication and teamwork. No attitude and treating certain people special while others like crap

I've dealt with three workplace bullies. I have other co-workers that don't understand why raw poultry is such a big deal and acts as such

Review from Sales Dept

We do not have any meetings to talk about what's going on and how we feel can make things run smoother. Forklifts are always in direr need of repairs. The trash compactor is always full, rats and mice are running around like crazy..
